Opera has released v4.2 beta of its popular Opera Mini cell phone web browser, adding a few new features in addition to fixing some stability issues. The new update includes a handful of new visual themes, called skins, allowing for a more colorful experience.

Opera Mini v4.2 beta also takes advantage of Opera‘s new servers in the U.S., which should offer an even faster browsing experience, specifically for users in North America and Asia. Certain phones will be able to use Opera Mini to browse YouTube videos, as well.

One of the more interactive features is the support for Opera Link, which synchronizes data between Opera‘s desktop web browser and Opera Mini. Aside from synchronizing your bookmarks and browsing history, notes are now supported in Opera Link.
