al3xis, Thanks so much for the nice review of 2Checkout and our services. To clarify, 2CO is by definition an authorized online reseller and accepts a number of payment options including Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Diner’s Club, and JCB, as well as PayPal, but is not a provider of merchant accounts. Because we don’t offer merchant accounts, we are the merchant of record on every sale that passes through our system, therefore, the $49 one-time sign up fee and 5.5% per transaction helps us cover 24-customer service, risk, PCI compliance storage requirements, and world-class fraud scrubbing, so business owners utilizing our service can focus their energy on marketing their products. Thanks again for recognizing our service.
